Introduction
Echo Labs was founded in 2023 as an artificial intelligence lab focused only on providing higher education specific solutions to solve schools accessibility needs. A small group AI developers, former special education teachers, court stenographers, and former employees of Kaltura, Blackboard, Panopto, Verbit and 3play moved to San Francisco February of 2024 to launch our commercial offerings intended to provide solutions meeting the exact needs of this community while radically decreasing the costs associated with licensing them. Our two completely in house built AI models CASPER for closed Captions and Luna for Audio Descriptions are the first of their kind, have faster turnaround, increased accuracy and on average 75% less than anything on the market.
